Cheng Ah Shu, Chinese female aged 17 was
admitted to Kowloon Hospital at 8.10 p.m. on 5th. May, 1938.
She had the following injuries:-
(1) Wound 1" long on left breast surgical emphysema of breast. (2) Wound 1" long behind the angle of the jaw left side.
(3) Two wounds 1" long right side of neck at back.
(4) Two wounds on right shoulder.
(5) Wound 1" long about the middle of the back.
All the wounds were inflicted with some
sharp instrument and were in a septic condition on admission,
and all were superficial (just through the skin) with the
exception of the wound of the left breast.
The injured girl is suffering from
Pneumonia but her condition is improving and in the absence
of complications should recover.

Further to my report of 10.5.38. re Cheng Ah Shu
Surgical Emphysema means presence of air in
the sub-cutaneous tissues,
The wounds in my opinion could have been
caused by blows from a dagger.
